Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in Ruby on Rails to join our team. You’ll be working on cutting-edge healthcare solutions, utilizing the latest Rails technologies like Stimulus, Turbo, and Hotwire, while also ensuring our systems comply with the latest FHIR R4 standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using Ruby on Rails
- Implement front-end features using Stimulus, Turbo, Hotwire, and TailwindCSS
- Ensure the integration and compliance of healthcare IT solutions with FHIR R4 standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver new features and improvements
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Ensure high-quality code through automated testing and code reviews
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in both healthcare and software development
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails development
- Proficiency with modern Rails features, including Stimulus, Turbo, Hotwire, etc.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks
- Experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Understanding of and experience with FHIR R4 standards in healthcare IT
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare software development, especially working with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and integrations
- Experience with secure data handling in compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec, Capybara)
